There are a couple reasons soldiers remains are listed in both cemeteries. The most likely is the burial listed in Abingdon is just a memorial put up by his family the the records have been lost through the years. Less likely is his remains were removed to aAbingdon post war and the paperwork at Corinth was never updated.
