"Death of William Addleman"
Intelligence has reached Galesburb of the death yesterday of William Addlemanh at the home of his daughter, Mrs. S.H. Britton, Moline. In the month of September Mr. Addleman fell from a ladder, and suffered internal injuries. His occupation was a paper hanger and a painter. Mr. Addleman is quite well known in Galesburg where at vareious times he had worked at his trade and he also has some relatives here. He was a widower, his wife having died in Abingdon several years ago. Surviving him are two daughters, Miss Minnie Addleman, a teacher in the Abingdon Public schools, and Mrs. S.H. Britton of Moline. One son, Jay A Addleman, of Chicago, but formerly a clerk in Bunker's shoe store, in Galesburg, also survive.
Mr. Addleman was an old soldier and at one time a member of Abingdon Post, G.A.R. For some months he was an inmate of the Soldiers' Home at Quincy, but for the past two years he has been able to work and had engaged in is trade in Abingdon and Moline.
